Foam Non-Adhesive Heel Dressing
Medstock Foam Heel Non-Adhesive Dressing is a highly absorbent, polyurethane foam dressing that has been specifically designed to comfortably fit around the heel contour. It contains carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) hydrophilic granules that promote and maintain a balanced, moist healing environment.
- High absorbency and fluid handling capacity
- Promotes a moist wound healing environment
- Designed to cover the malleolus area as well as the heel for superior cushioned protection
- Ability to vertically wick exudate away from the wound and retain exudate in the core of the foam
- Contoured design ensures a snug fit and optimal conformity on the heel
- Non-adherent to the wound, preventing damage to healing tissue
- Suitable for wounds with low to high exudate
- Adaptable to different phases of wound healing
- Pressure ulcers
- Incorporated into a pressure injury prevention management plan
- Do not use Foam Heel Dressing with oxidising agents such as hypochlorite solutions (e.g. EUSOL) or hydrogen peroxide
- If reddening or sensitisation occurs, discontinue use
